Please make sure you have read the general rules as well.
1. Don't post in a roleplaying thread unless you are a member or are applying for membership.
2. Any roleplays that may contain content rated higher than PG must have a notification somewhere, such as the rules or introduction.
3. Don't use your characters to bypass general rules.
4. Don't necro-bump roleplays.
5. Please try not to be running more than three RPs at a time.
6. No meta-gaming, powerplaying, god-modding, or spot-lighting.
7. You can kick users out of your RP for reasonable reasons, however, you may not deny a user entry to a RP unless it is due to previous RP bans or inactivity.
Don't post in a roleplaying thread unless you are a member or are applying for membership
Basically, don't try to participate in a RP without being polite and applying first. You will most likely get ignored.
Any roleplays that may contain content rated higher than PG must have a notification somewhere, such as the rules or introduction
If your RP contains content that is G or PG, ignore this rule. If it contains content that would be rated PG-13, PG-15, or R, please notify your viewers. Any R-rated content in a post must have a warning and be in a spoiler if necessary. No explicit sexual content or over-the-top gore content. No X-rated content.
Don't use your characters to bypass general rules
Basically, don't use your character to instill hate upon another user, or degrade them in some way. Also, don't have your character hate upon another character just because you don't like the user controlling them.
Don't necro-bump roleplays.
If your RP has been completely inactive for a month or more, do not post in it. Also, do not re-post your RP if it became completely inactive. Doing so is also considered a form of necro-bumping.
Please try not to be running more than three RPs at a time
If you can do it, then do it. But don't come crying to us if your RPs fall apart because you don't have enough time for them all.
No meta-gaming, powerplaying, god-modding, or spot-lighting. Don't take control of someone else's character without permission, perform tasks that should not be possible in any way, possess knowledge in-RP you shouldn't have, create Gary-Stues or Mary-Sues, or twist the plot so that all of the attention is focused on your character.
You can kick users out of your RP for reasonable reasons, however, you may not deny a user entry to a RP unless it is due to previous RP bans or inactivity.
Basically, if a user breaks your RP's rules repeatedly, you may kick them out and deny them re-entry. You may also deny someone if your RP is a literate, advanced RP and they do not show the necessary literary skills for your RP. Refusing to accept someone due to things like post count, age, location, or opinion is not allowed.
