_{Lostwhisker healed himself fully and sighed as the flames engulfed him. They were the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. He let his body heat up from the fire. In time, he stalked forward-silently though not to let Nighttalon aware of his location. When he got close enough, he gripped Nighttalon's tail with his claws and dragged him into the intense fire.}

Nighttalon screamed as he was dragged into the flames. He was aware of the fire burning away parts of his pelt. He didn't understand what about fire Lostwhisker loved so much. He tried to get to his paws, but fell, coughing from smoke inhalation.

(I feel like now is a time for descriptive pain paragraphs, or DPPs.)}

"Ripplejaw, please stop giving the silent treatment!" Flameclaw practically wailed. "You know I hate that!"

Iceleaf finally caught up. "Why did you assign Rainfall to be my new mentor?"

She shrugged. "Hey, it was either her or one of the more senior warriors here, like Tigerstar or Mapleshade."

The white cat squeaked when she heard their names.

Lostwhisker smiled gleefully at the sound of the scream and raked his claw down his side, "Afraid of a little fire pet!" He spat. The smoke billowed around them and his laughter was maniacal and droned the sound of the flames out.}

"No." Nighttalon coughed. This fire had to be doing serious damage to his lungs. He reared up on his hind legs and slashed at Lostwhisker.}

Flameclaw shrugged. "I need a break from him every once in a while. I got tired of his whining over you."

"He's been whining about me?"

"Pretty much. But I left in good paws with Lostwhisker."

Iceleaf shuddered when she heard Lostwhisker's name. "Wouldn't Lostwhisker try to kill him, though?"

"Oh, please. Even Lostwhisker isn't that crazy. At least I hope he isn't…"

Nighttalon hissed as he felt his hind legs fall out underneath him. As Lostwhisker raked his belly with his claws, Nighttalon kicked out with his hind legs, giving him the momentum he needed to roll away.}

He aggressively pulled up his paw in the air and swiped his back, he repeated with the other paw until he was continuously raking and raking his back over and over. Blood spattered onto his whiskers. He looked truly insane.}
