"Just relax..." Gorsefoot chuckled. He placed his paw on top of the wound, drenching it in blood. He then began to draw a symbol on the dusty ground. It looked like the Starclan symbol, but the star was upside-down.

_{Lostwhisker used all his brain power to keep Nighttalon awake, to make him stronger. He then slid under the tom to pull him to his feet. He dipped down and clenched his right paw in his jaw then kicked with his hind legs onto Nighttalon's belly to pull the front leg out of socket. Releasing the leg from his mouth he scrambled up a tree- pushed off and twisted his body to land square on Nighttalon's shoulder- the same one he just pulled out of socket. His claws dug into the shoulder and under his body pressure, he heard a snap.

_{Nighttalon hissed as he felt his shoulder break. His legs gave way, and he fell into a pool of his own blood. He could feel energy surging through his veins, silently begging Lostwhisker for more. He wanted power, and his father had convinced him that pain was the key to reaching it.}

_{"Pain is for the weak, when you get good, you go limp- feel no pain," he hissed to him instructively. Lostwhisker pushed him back up, channeling his bones and muscles to make Nighttalon stand. He circled around quickly and kicked Nighttalon's jaw forcing it to drop down. He turned and stuck his claw onto the warriors tongue and teeth and dragged him toward a tree. His claws were latched on the tom's teeth and he threw the tom face first into a tree, ripping a few teeth out and clawing holes in the warrior's tongue.}

Gorsefoot moved behind Darkclaw and said something strange. To anyone but him, it sounded like senseless babbling. The blood symbol began to glow and he shoved Darkclaw from behind, knocking him over so he landed right on top of it. He raised a paw, claws unsheathed and eyes wide with insane pleasure.

His paw came down, slicing the tom's throat. As the blood began to flow, Gorsefoot's body began to ripple, like it was melting. His image seemed to liqufy until he was a shapeless brown and black blob floating in midair. He blob began to seep into Darkclaw's neck wound, creating a wave of intense, burning pain.

_{Lostwhisker leaped on his back, squeezing him tight around the hips with his hind legs and wrapping his front legs around his neck and convulsed his muscles, cutting off Nighttalon's airway. He healed his broken shoulder to keep him standing but left the pain.}
